Soft washing is a low-pressure way to clean a roof. We don't blast the tiles with a high-pressure jet. We apply specialised cleaning solutions that break down moss, lichen, mould and the black streaks left by algae, then rinse the roof gently.

Pressure washing uses a high-pressure jet to blast dirt off. Soft washing uses specialised cleaning solutions to break down moss, lichen and mould, then a low-pressure rinse to wash it away. On a roof, that means a thorough clean without cracked tiles or stripped coatings.
Is soft washing safe for Colorbond and metal roofs?
Yes. We use methods and solutions suited to Colorbond and metal roofing, which clean the roof without damaging the factory finish.
Is soft washing safe for terracotta and concrete tiles?
Yes. Nothing is blasted at the tiles, so a soft wash won't chip, crack or wear away their surface. It's the method we use on tile and terracotta roofs.
