Open Monday to SaturdayClean decks and patios, ready to use or oil
In Brisbane you spend a lot of time out on the deck or patio, and the subtropical climate is hard on both. Timber greys quickly, tiles get slippery with algae, and mould takes hold in the shady corners.
Different surfaces need different handling. Timber needs a gentler clean than concrete pavers, and composite decking has its own requirements, so we set up the clean for whatever you have.
If you're getting ready for summer entertaining or about to oil the deck, a proper clean gives the oil or stain a good surface to go onto.
- Greyed timber back to its natural colour
- Slippery algae removed
- Safe for all decking materials
- Good preparation for oiling or staining
- Helps your deck last longer
- Dries fast, so there's little disruption

Deck & Patio Cleaning questions
Not answered here? Call 0480 808 362 and we'll talk it through.
Can pressure washing damage my timber deck?
It can if it's done badly. We use controlled pressure and nozzles suited to timber, and our technicians are trained to clean without raising the grain or damaging the wood fibres.
Should I clean my deck before oiling?
Yes. Cleaning first takes off the grey oxidised layer and opens up the grain, so the oil soaks in properly and protects the timber for longer.
How long should I wait to oil after cleaning?
Give the timber 48 to 72 hours to dry fully before you oil or stain it. That way the finish soaks in and sticks properly.
Can you clean composite decking?
Yes. We use methods made for composite boards such as Trex and ModWood, which clean them without damaging the surface or voiding the warranty.
Why has my deck turned grey?
UV breaks down the surface of the timber and turns it grey. The grey layer is only on the surface, so cleaning removes it and the timber colour underneath comes back.
Can you clean around outdoor furniture?
We can, but it's better to clear the deck first. That way we reach every board and there's no overspray on your furniture.
