A sealer leaves an invisible barrier that protects the surface from oil stains, tyre marks, mould and UV. It also makes the concrete much easier to clean, because dirt can't soak into it.

How long does concrete sealer last?
A good sealer usually lasts 3 to 5 years, depending on traffic, exposure and upkeep. Busy driveways may need resealing sooner, and sheltered patios can go longer.
What type of sealer should I choose?
We'll recommend one based on your surface and what you want from it. Penetrating sealers give invisible protection. Film-forming sealers change the look and can add gloss or deepen the colour.
Can you seal exposed aggregate concrete?
Yes, and we recommend it. Sealing protects the stones, brings out their colours and stops the surface going rough and pitted.
Do you need to clean before sealing?
Yes, and it's included. A thorough clean first means the sealer bonds properly and gives full protection.
How long until I can use my driveway?
With most sealers you can walk on it after 2 to 4 hours and drive on it after 24 to 48 hours. We'll give you specific timing for the sealer we use.
Is sealer slippery when wet?
Standard sealers can be slippery when wet. For driveways and pool areas we can add a non-slip additive that keeps the grip without changing how the sealer works or looks.
